2.1. How can I access my email?

You can access your email through the internet browser by typing this URL:

http://webmail.yourdomain.com

Then you should put your complete email id and password.

For more questions, please contact us at admin@sohoweb.ca.

2.2 How do I read my emails with Outlook ?

Click on Tools/Accounts/Properties and enter the below information when you are asked:

:: Incoming mail server (POP3): yourdomain.com
:: Outgoing mail server (SMTP): yourdomain.com
:: Login (username): user@domain.com ( "@domain.com" is necessary )
:: Password: your password.

:: Click on more setting
:: Click on outgoing mail server tab
:: Check mark my outgoing mail server requires authentication
:: Then check mark the option "use same setting as my incoming mail server

Note: We use a security feature called POP3-before-relay. You must check your emails before you create/send new emails (to be logged on our server with your login/password). Some versions of Outlook have a bug and try to send emails BEFORE checking. In that case, click on “Receive ALL” before sending new emails.

In Tools/Options/Mail delivery, UNCHECK 'send messages immediately when connected'.

An external SMTP Server like SOHOWeb's can be blocked by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
In case you experience problems sending out emails, contact your ISP and ask about their SMTP server address.  For example, if you are on Rogers Cable, your SMTP address would be smtp.broadband.rogers.com.
